We have spent a wonderful weekend and would like to say a big thankyou to the staff. The hotel lives up to its reputation, the staff were very friendly, the rooms are first class and the food was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again.

Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say "perfect " this gastro pub gave me everything I wanted. Great ambience, good range of hand pulled beers, log fire, good food and modern contemporary well-appointed rooms. Close to Chester which is always worth a visit and then back to the village to relax at the pub. First class.
